  • 1 cup Vegetable Stock ((240ml) or Broth)
  • 1 Sheet Nori (Finely chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
  • 3 Slices Beets (Pickled*)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (Crushed)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger (Minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Sheet Nori (Cut into strips roughly the same size as the tofu fillets)
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch (plus more if needed)
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil (or Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Chopped Cilantro
  • Lemon Wedges
