Ingredients
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 garlic clove, (minced)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 8 ounce package tempeh, (cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped shallots, (2 to 3 shallots)
- 2 garlic cloves, (minced)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 4 cups kale leaves, (torn into 1 to 2 inch pieces)
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1/3 cup water
- 6 cups 1 inch bread cubes, (about 1/2 loaf, I used multigrain, but use whatever is your favorite)
- Dalt and pepper to taste
