  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 medium sweet onion, diced small
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large carrots, peeled and diced
  • 3/4 cup frozen peas
  • 4 cups cooked and chilled rice (white or brown are both fine)
  • 2-3 green onions, sliced
  • 3-4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce (use tamari for gluten free)
