- 1 ½ cup cashews (or blanched almonds)
- 1 ⅔ cup water
- 2 heaped tsp vegetable broth
- 4 tbsp nutritional yeast (for a cheesy flavour (optional))
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 14 oz mushrooms (sliced)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- 1 heaped cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 4 tsp tamari sauce (or soy sauce)
- 1 tsp liquid smoke (or sub more tamari)
- 2 tsp maple syrup (or coconut syrup)
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
