Bolognese Pasta Bake (Easy & Vegan)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups pasta (e.g. fussili, maccaroni, penne, rigatoni or gluten-free pasta)
  • 14 oz Bolognese sauce
  • ½ cup vegan crème fraiche
  • 1 cup vegan cheese (grated, or béchamel sauce)
  • vegan parmesan
  • herbs (e.g. basil and parsley)

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente (1-2 minutes less than package directions). 2. Drain pasta and return to pan. Add the Bolognese sauce and optional herbs, mix and heat briefly. 3. Transfer the Bolognese pasta to a casserole dish. Spoon vegan creme fraiche over it, smooth out and sprinkle with grated vegan cheese. 4. Bake in a preheated oven at 392F / 200C (356F / 180C fan) for 20 minutes until cheese has melted. 5. Garnish with vegan parmesan and fresh herbs. Serve!
